At Lualima, we understand the importance of family equality and the need to make educational programs more accessible for families in all situations, and our fee structure reflects that. Everyone pays something to ensure no one is left out of the process and to create a sense of responsibility and ownership within our community-driven model. By providing options, families can exercise choice while feeling empowered to be part of our communal co-creation experience. Our tuition model is structured to encourage parent volunteering to help support our cooperative-style approach.

A limited number of Volunteer-Tuition Trades are also available for application to qualifying families.

Lualima Tuition Options

You will decide on which portion of the tuition you are able to pay, taking into consideration what works best for your family. Eligible enrolled families can do a Volunteer/Tuition trade instead of completing our Financial Application Process to receive discounted tuition rates. Volunteer hours are set based on your choice of discount option.

Below are the tuition options for what you choose to pay for our program. Rates change between sessions so please reach out with any questions. We are here to help!

1) Pick a Session (Summer '23, Fall '23 or Spring '24 year)

2) Pick a model (Drop-off or Hybrid)

3) Pick a tuition option that best fits your family. (You can review the full monthly tuition rates below.)

Families who decide to choose options L-M will need to complete a Tuition Option Application and provide the required documentation with their enrollment paperwork.

Families can decide the most suitable tuition cost for their budget and can opt for a payment plan of 5-10 monthly installments, quarterly, or as a single payment.

*Weekly Summer Camps are flat rate by week and are not eligible for the Choose Your Tuition options or Volunteer-Trade Scholarships. Families are still encouraged to come volunteer to interact with our community however, tuition rates remain the same.
