Program Director 

Lualima Community Microschool is looking to bring on a second Program Director!

We are a unique, nonprofit program that provides passion driven, hands-on learning experiences for learners centered around nature, natural healing, life skills and social emotional learning. We're looking for a passionate and energetic individual with strong leadership skills and some experience educating in the homeschooling world.

This opportunity is ideal for caregivers who are currently holding some form of their children's education and are looking to help attend, contribute, build and manage the day to day offerings of the Lualima program with our current Program Director, Darleen.

Community Outreach Specialist  

Working along side our fearless Community Outreach Director, you will represent Lualima Community Microschool at in person tabling events, community events and help bring a presence to the alternative education and homeschooling community via social media. 

Steering Committee Director  

We are seeking an experienced Steering Committee Director to lead our organization's steering committee. As the Steering Committee Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of the organization's strategic plan. This is currently an unpaid, volunteer role.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement the organization's strategic plan in collaboration with the steering committee.

- Lead and facilitate steering committee meetings.

- Develop and manage the annual budget for the steering committee.

- Establish and maintain effective communication with all stakeholders, including organizational leadership, staff, and community partners.

- Ensure the alignment of the organization's goals with the steering committee's initiatives.

- Monitor and report on the progress of the strategic plan and adjust as necessary.

- Provide guidance and support to steering committee members.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field is preferred.

- At least 3 years of experience in a leadership or management role.

- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups.

- Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and project management skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Experience working with non-profit organizations is preferred.
